We're an early stage venture fund that invests exclusively in student-run technology startups at UCSD.

We believe that providing access to even small amounts of seed capital can inspire young student engineers and future business leaders to pursue technology entrepreneurship.

why UCSD

Innovation can occur anywhere, but we want to help grow communities that produce talent and encourage young technologists to bring ideas to life. That's why we're starting with UCSD - home to the largest computer science engineering program in the UC system.

$1 million by 2020

We're investing $1 million into select student-run technology startups at UCSD through 2020. With an average investment size of $10,000 to $20,000, we'll be backing 10 to 20 founders per year.

Our criteria is simple

At least one founder must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at UCSD.
